Supermoon night !

Här kommer en Wael Kfoury Låt, översätt till Engelska... ''Too romantisk to be true''.

by the way, today was the full moon, supermoon or whatever you may call... “Supermoon” occured on March 19th 2011 — at its closest approach to Earth in two decades —

Here is Superman Wael singing in this Supermoon day :)

Weird creatures !

"We have bigger houses but smaller families;
More conveniences, but less time;
We have more degrees, but less sense;
More knowledge, but less judgment;
More experts, but more problems;
More medicines, but less healthiness;
We've been all the way to the moon and back,
but have trouble crossing the street to meet the new neighbor"

Lebanese People by Ziad Rahbani

The best way to make fun of yourself (Lebanese) is by listing things that are true. This shouldn’t be difficult if you’re honest as this guy is.

The last minute about hooohooohoooooo is hilarious :)

Do you have a doubt ?

Well, It is not so easy to find a good Arabic song translated to English, but when there is a will there is a way... Enjoy arabic poetry. The singer '' Kazem el Saher '' is from Iraq and he is one of the most popular singers in the Arabic world, and the best in my own world.
The poet is Syrian named '' nizar kabbani ''. I wonder if western people have good understanding and feeling for such oriental poetry.I really wonder about such differences.
Enjoy Kazem and the Lebanese actress in the video, dressed in black.

How governments have become the new husband

I took a photo for an interesting page I was reading in the book 'The Mating Game' by Barbara and Allen Pease. I had the same thinking actually even before reading those lines.
There was a big chapter before reaching that page talking about what does a women exactly need from a man through the past and the present. It says '' Today's woman still wants a man who can provide and protect - In simple terms, he has access to resources ''
Until I reached this page

FALSK MATEMATIK (Written by Peps Persson)

Jag fortsätter att lära mig svenska, och idag rekommenderade min kollega denna skånska låt för mig. Det är för gammal men det gör att min svenska flyter på :)

Ett o ett e två
två o två e fyra,
lönerna dom e låga
men varorna e dyra.

Ska de' va så svårt att fatta
att det e falsk matematik,
som gör den fattige så fattig
o den rike så förbannat rik.

Två o två är fyra
fyra o fyre e åtta
En del har femton badrum
o jag har en sprucken potta.

Ska de' va...

Tre o tre e sex
sex o sex e tolv
Fru Wallenberg putsar naglarna
o fru Svensson skurar golv.

Ska de' va...

Noll o noll e noll
o noll-noll noll-noll-noll
var du än släpper slantarna
så rullar dom åt samma håll.

Ska de' va...

Universalism vs Particularism - Sweden vs Lebanon

One of the key culture factors influencing the deployment of corporate responsibility programs is Universalism versus Particularism as defined by Fons Trompenaars in his book ”Riding the Waves of Culture”.  To a Universalist the rule is the rule and there are no exceptions.  In these cultures – Finland, Switzerland, Germany, Sweden and the USA are typical examples – people follow strictly all of the rules and anyone who breaks a rule is generally considered bad.  On the other hand, in particularist societies people are not so strict about rules -- they consider also the circumstances.  In this case bending the rules is a way of life and you are not considered a good person if you are not able to twist the rules according to the situation.  In these places -- Italy, South America, Middle East and so on -- there is no stigma attached to some business practices that might be considered unethical by western standards.  To give one example, a US manager who hired family members would be accused of nepotism, but in Rwanda anyone who is appointed to an important job has a moral duty to hire all his friends and relatives.  If he or she did not they would be considered a bad person.
