Phoenician Alphabet

Being at a party yesterday, and when introducing myself as a Lebanese to a Portuguese guy, he loudly said: '' WE OWE YOU THE ALPHABET ''.
It feels nice when someone knows that we Lebanese made the parent script of all western alphabets, and it's the ancestor of all modern alphabets, including Arabic, Latin, Cyrillic, Hebrew, and Greek... Yes, even before the Greek alphabet - Imagine how disappointed my Greek colleague was when I proved to him that Phoenician alphabet is older than his Greek one -
